⏱️ Working Hours

  • Full-time employees: 40 hours/week
  • Part-time/freelancers: Defined by project scope
  • Flexible schedules available with team lead approval

Remote Work & Hybrid Employment

We support remote employment across the U.S. and select global regions. Our tools and practices include:

  • Slack, Zoom, Notion, and Google Workspace
  • Weekly video check-ins and async status updates
  • Monthly all-hands meetings

Remote employees are still required to attend quarterly training sessions and are encouraged to participate in virtual team-building events.

Onboarding Process

New hires can expect:

  2. Orientation Week: Includes newsroom tools training, editorial policy reviews, and a buddy pairing.
